My favorite subjects in photography are children just being themselves. They are so honest and free, especially in an environment like the beach. In Orange county California where I live there is a beautiful little spot called Diver’s cove. When I bring families and their children to this beach to create a portrait I often notice how the first order of business for the kids is to run around in the sand and to put their feet into ocean. I love to observe how children feel so at home in nature. I have found no better setting over my career to capture kids being themselves in the wonder of creation.
